Energized

For whatever strange reason, I have bounced around at work and now at home, full of energy. I think I need to seize on this wellspring of oomph and get some writing done tonight.

A few minutes ago, I read a post on the Sam's Dot message board from Teresa Tunaley in which she called "A Walk into the Dreamworld" brilliant and asked if I am writing a sequel. Wow. There's nothing like having someone say ultra nice things about your writing and say that they want to see more of it to make a writer feel all warm and fuzzy. As I happen to be writing a-sort-of-sequel now, I'm even more inspired to continue working on it.

Stories continue to trickle in for L*S, but nothing has caught my fancy. I drafted a new set of slightly broader guidelines this week, and I may post them in the next couple of days.

Steve Pasechnick at Alchemy said no to my Native American assassin story yesterday, so I'm planning on mailing it off to The Third Alternative in the next few days. No other news on my story and poem submissions.
