I received a story from an author today that I liked, just not enough to accept for Lone Star Stories. What's unusual about this situation is that I asked the author to send me some of his work because I thought it sounded intriguing. After reading his story, I don't regret asking, and I hope he sends more. I have a feeling that one of his more recent pieces would work very well for me. It was tough saying no, however.

No other news to share. I'm waiting for responses to poems and stories, and I'm waiting for the energy to write poems and stories....
