I wrote one flash fiction piece from scratch today and finished another one I'd started and stopped. I'm very pleased, and I have the urge to write something else. I might even *gasp* work on my novel.

Not much news on the Lone Star Stories front, just a few submissions. I have noticed that the overall quality of submissions has risen, and that's cool.

My fiction submission to Amazing Stories has now managed to exceed the response time average for that market, and I'm beginning to allow myself a little hope.
