After some thought, I've decided to expand the guidelines for Lone Star Stories to include speculative fiction and poetry that have no connection to Texas or to Texans. There just isn't enough Texas-related work or work by Texans and former Texans to provide the variety I want for Lone Star Stories. However, I'll still try and have a story or poem with some sort of Texas connection in each issue.
