I managed to complete a first replot/rewrite of a short story tonight. By the time I finished it, the tale had reached 7000 words in length. That's my longest completed story. Ever. It still needs polishing, and I have a trusted reader looking it over as I write this, but it feels done. That's such a nice feeling.

Now, if I can make myself finish the other stories that have langished on my laptop, I'll be a very happy writer.
