A big contract litigation job has come up, and it has taken much of my time over the past week and a half. As a result of the job, my journal entries here may be few and far between until it's complete.

I still need a story or two for the December/January issue of Lone Star Stories, so any writers reading this are encouraged to send something fictional my way. :-)

Despite the flurry of acceptances last month, I still have 70 stories and poems out looking for homes. The numerous editorial responses to them are keeping my e-mail in-box from getting lonely, though.

I promised myself I'd start writing a novel this month, and I'm going to see if I can get cracking on it tonight. My poetry-writing is going well, although I've only written one short story in the last couple of weeks. Poetry is just so much easier for me to write.
