As the title suggests, I never did get started on my novel this month. My easy excuse involving a large legal project is now gone (the work ended a week ago), so I really need to buckle down and begin writing something.

On a positive writing note, I completed seven new poems and three new flashes this month. I also expanded a flash to almost-short-story length for the [i]Twenty Epics[/i] anthology. My writing group is currently shredding the tale for me, so it should be in excellent shape by the time I submit it on December 20th.

Issue No. 6 of Lone Star Stories is ready for its appearance online on the first day of December. I'm really pleased with this issue, and I hope L*S readers enjoy it as much I have enjoyed putting it together.
