“Doubled”, by Eric Marin, is the most concise entry. It is almost more of a prose poem than a fiction, and its compactness nonetheless emphasises the dreamlike nature of the narration. Its play on perception and reality is finely handled, and it is, like “Buzz”, a highlight of this issue.
