One Reason Why I Pay upon Acceptance

Mike Allen has taken over as publisher of Mythic Delirium, and for financial reasons, is paying less per poem for some of the work contracted for by the former publisher, DNA. (He is releasing the poetry of those writers who will not accept the reduction in payment, some of which have been waiting to be published for nine months.) Bruce Boston is less than thrilled about this and has posted to that effect in the Science Fiction Poetry Association's discussion group:

(This link may not work for those of you who are not members of the Science Fiction Poetry Association.)

Poets are lining up on both sides of this rather heated discussion.

I am just glad that Lone Star Stories pays upon acceptance.
