Lone Star Stories Reviewed in Locus

Rich Horton has reviewed Lone Star Stories in the December issue of Locus:

Lone Star Stories is approaching two years of regular bimonthly web publication. From issue #11, October, Sherwood Smith's "The Hero and the Princess" is best, though Stephanie Burgis and Jay Lake also contribute good work. Smith's is a down-to-earth story about a young man who wants to be a hero, and his encounter with a woman who shows him that real heroism is more complex than just good swordsmanship. I should also mention a story from August, Sarah Prineas's "A Treatise on Fewmets", a delightful piece about Esme Quirk, an Assistant Professor of Elemental Studies, and her adventures attempting to deal with a dragon in a dotty old woman's garden -- and with the dotty old woman's unexpectedly attractive nephew.

I am one happy editorial camper. :-)
