So the PET scan results are in on Dad... Largish fluid-filled tumor tucked under the lung... Small tumor growing on the clavicle... Tiny tumors growing on the spine, in the intestines, and in two parts of the liver... The chemo was supposed to start on Monday...the doctor now wants to push it up to this Friday... And so we pray harder...as Dad puts it...to make lemonade out of these fireplacing lemons. --EDITED TO NOTE: For you non-RGBP folks, "fireplace" is our "f-word", though frequently we drop the real one too.
