Three weeks ago, disgusted with a winter that refuses to end and the endless shoveling of the heaviest snow totals on my side of ChiTown since before I was born, I said...

"If I have to shovel snow during Holy Week or if it snows on Easter, I'm taking all of April off. That's all there is to it."

Current forecast: Snow on Friday, small accumulation (read shoveling), and intermittent snow showers ON EASTER.

Sadly, taking off April is not in the cards....but if it all comes to pass...Yahweh owes me a month.

Then again, I don't think I want to start comparing the balance of accounts in this relationship...so...um...never mind.
