Hello Everyone,

I hope you really enjoyed your snow day...can you believe the amount we got? It was so much fun to wake up to all the whiteness :) Anyone make a snowman? Sledding? Snowball fights? We got this snowball makers that make absolutely perfectly round snowballs. They are awesome and you can scoop the snow up on the run- you don't even have to stop to use them.

So, did any of you take advantage of this day to get caught up on some reading? I read two books today, "Out of Reach" about a kid who finds out he is great at rock wall climbing and even though it goes against what his father wants for him, he pursues it because he wants to be true to himself. And, I read "Savvy" about a family of people who gain a "power" when they turn 13. One kid can control the weather and create storms and hurricanes; one can control electricity and the main character, Mib, is turning 13 now and wondering what her power will be?

I am moving on to "Outrage" next. That is Tony Varrato's first book- he is the author of "Fakie." I am excited to see what his very first book was like.

Thanks to anyone who came to the Boys and Books conference. It was tons of fun- we had a BLAST!
