Today we went back to Glaumbaer, and spent a very windy day working on trench profiles. We had a few sprinkles in the morning, but moderate chilly wind with pretty good gusts throughout the day. We saw rain storms all around us, but thankfully none hit us directly.

We did a couple of trenches today, which were pretty straightforward, so not much to write about in that respect. We did one little trench on all four sides because it may be in a relatively important location. We also studied and drew an 8m trench that wasn't all that interesting, but it contains numerous cultural layers that we had to record.

I've got a lot to do tonight and tomorrow night in order to get things wrapped up for the season. We have to write down descrptions of a number of trenches, work on a database of bones and artifacts that we've uncovered in our trenches, and prepare some forms for the visit of a tephra expert on Wednesday.

So, keeping this short, I bid you adieu.
