Tomorrow we're off on holiday (hooray!). I don't have to work again for two blissful weeks.

Today that occassion was marked by the disappearance of all the hot weather and the appearance of grey clouds and rain. Actually, it's been way too hot, so I'm grateful.

I've been entertaining myself by trying to come up with a novel that is just completely fun. Writing something fun and non-serious should be easy, but it isn't. Allowing myself to be frivilous in writing is difficult. I'm way too trapped in the serious. This is a battle I'm determined to win, though. Assassins, tournaments, magic, cafes, it's all going in the damned book no matter what.
