I went over to the veteran's hospital on the Pennhurst grounds to introduce myself to their security. Since I call and let the security officers know when I'm walking on the grounds, I figured it would be a good idea to let them see what I look like. There is someone in the security office 24/7, which is a good thing. The officer I met confirmed my suspicion that a few of the abandoned buildings had caught fire in the past. I was going to include some photos of the VA center with this post, but the light wasn't right.
