Today was a good day. It was nice just to spend most of the morning reading my book while I was at work. Hell, even the phones were pretty quiet. :D

Berek and I have tickets to the Bruce Springsteen concert on Sunday, August 17th. I'm excited mostly because I haven't been to a real concert before. Berek's excited because he gets to go and see his favorite musician/band. I'm glad I could help him out. He had been so frantic about trying to win tickets by calling into the radio station Arrow. We weren't having much luck. Originally, I thought I wouldn't have enough money to get us tickets, but it turns out I'll make it. So this morning I let him use my bank card to secure us tickets. It was a little stressful for him, because for whatever reason his computer wasn't cooperating while he was buying them on the TicketMaster website. So after all the freezing and whatnot we got two tickets on the Top Deck in left most corner. Not the greatest seats, but hell, they're seats!

So I have an interview with PetSmart tomorrow at noon and I'm really hoping that I like what I see and that they will hire me. I really want out of Collar & Leash. Actually, I'm not the only one. Apparently, Ashley also comes in tomorrow at noon for an interview too. Heh, it'll be kind of awkward trying to pretend we don't know each other. Ah well...

So tonight I spent some time with my sweetie at Border's and then we checked out sheets and mattress pads for the new bed that he'll be getting soon. We found the greatest feeling t-shirt sheets! Oh my! They felt great to the touch! Comfy stuff! Anyway, after that we had dinner and then he dropped me off at Ashley's house because she and I decided we were going out to see a movie. We saw "How to Deal". I've realized that I'm a little too old to see movies like that. They simply aren't that believeable or good for that matter. Ah well, what are you going to do? It was nice though just doing girl stuff.

I realize that I miss my best friend Laura a lot. I was telling Berek that she and I always managed to do the dumb stuff that was just fun! :D We just don't get the opportunity to do much together anymore. :*( I remember once just before graduation we promised each other that we would never lose touch and we would always remember to do things together. How easy it seemed back then when there weren't any sort of real responsibilities. Now we live further apart and we both have lives that hardly ever seem to intertwine anymore. I suppose we haven't lived up to that promise, but then I think, we never really understood what it was all about anyway, did we?
