Today was nice...for the most part. I was awakened this morning by my cellphone going off. My boss was trying to talk to me. Apparently, Ashley gave her two week notice today. Not to mention that she's been talking shit about me to Lisa behind my back. She said, "Pita isn't running the store right." and, "Pita isn't ordering enough stuff for the store." Even though when Manny was about to throw in the towel and was mad at Lisa and I about not firing Ricardo (long story) she told me, "I think you're doing a good job managing the store." So what the hell is wrong with this picture here? Oh, and on Monday, she called me and asked if I wanted to see a movie with her! She even asked what she should wear to the interview with Petsmart on Tuesday afternoon. So what the hell, why is she being buddy buddy with me and then saying shit about me? Anyway, I didn't let it ruin my day.

After I hung up with Lisa, I made breakfast for Berek and I...mmmm Bacon, eggs and orange juice. Yum! Then we decided to go into Collar & Leash to talk to Lisa about all the shit that's hitting the fan.

We had a nice time at the Northridge Mall too. We wandered about and had lunch at Tommie's (yumm) and then we went to Torrid to see if I could find anything nice to wear for clubbing. I didn't find anything too attractive that would look good on me so that was a little disappointing, but we moved on and went to Suncoast to look at stuff there. I went to Fredericks of Hollywood to see if I couldn't find a corset I liked for clubbing, but the corsets were about as much as a whole dress at Torrid! Damn that stuff is expensive! As Berek said, "It seems the less there is to women's clothing, the more expensive it is." It's the truth! Then we stopped at the pet shop there and they were hiring, but the only thing is, I don't know if I'd want to work there. It might be nice to be around the animals for experience sake, but it's a tiny store and they couldn't even tell me if the position available was full-time or part-time. Oh well. The other thing is, I'd be stuck in a mall again and I'm not sure I want to be a caged animal again.

After we went to the mall we went back to the house for awhile Berek's dad approached me about Berek. He wanted to know about his job situation. Berek has been working on getting a job. The thing is, Berek doesn't want to settle for just any joe job and frankly I don't blame him. He needs a decent job that will help him pay off his debts and set him back on track and flipping burgers just ain't gonna do that for him. Anyway, so I told Berek that his dad approached me and will probably talk to him about the job situation and Berek became very upset. I felt so bad because I felt so powerless to console him and make him feel better. We went out and took care of his situation with his new bed. After that we just went around to Fry's, Sportmart, and Best Buy. I think I helped him to feel better. He was still anticipating having to talk to his dad and so I knew he was still upset.

Other than the problem with Berek's dad, I think we had a good day. I know I enjoyed spending time with my sweetie out on the town. Of course, I just enjoy being with Berek, how he puts up with me, I don't think I'll ever know. :D
