Rats! I really don't want to work tomorrow! I'm tired, and I am not looking forward to having to work 12 long hours! And it gets worse dammit! I work the same long shift on Sunday too! Oh well, I suppose there is no use in complaining about it. It won't change anything.

Today was uneventful. Although, it was Berek's first day on the job. He did well and though it was hard for me to stop calling him "sweetie" I tried. I'll learn. Besides, hopefully I won't be there too much longer.

Lisa told me that she hasn't heard anything from the vet she interviewed with so she's not too optimistic about having the job. She said she was confident after having spoke to the office manager, but when she talked to the owner/vet she didn't feel too good about getting the job. She couldn't read her she said.

The new girl, Carla is working out pretty good. She's nice and she's working hard, but I can tell after a few nights of working with Manny without me being around, she'll slack off too. I suppose it's inevitable. We all tend to slack off a bit there, but I don't want her to think it's alright to read a magazine while there are customers circulating around the store (like Ashley). Ah well...only time will tell.
