Whew! I'm exhausted. I went to work and it was actually busy for a Saturday. Mostly, because there was a lot to do, in so little time. In any case, I got things done and I came home. Berek was a little depressed today because of his work. I think things are really starting to catch up with him. Unfortunately, there isn't much he can do but find his way out of it in whatever way he can.

I was supposed to do a lot of studying today, but I had a pounding headache and no matter what I did, it never really went away. I'm guessing it's due to a lack of sleep (which in a moment I am going to seize).

Tomorrow, my day is pretty much open. There is the possibility of hanging with Rob and Jen, but we haven't heard from them regarding their plans if they were going to go to Solvang or not.

Last night, Jen showed me the new dragons that she got the last time they went up there. There's a great shop that sells Pena dragons way cheaper than even the internet! She got a new hatchling (the color escapes me) and an awesome young dragon in emerald! I like the green ones, but the white are my favorite. I purchased the Emperor Dragon they had for at least $100 less than the retail price online (since they're retired now). MUST....GET....MORE...DRAGONS!

Speaking of dragons, I was watching Animal Planet and there's a program that's called "Dragons". In fact, Neopets has a game you can play that's sponsored by Animal Planet. It looks cool. I'm gonna watch.

We watched Mutual of Ohmaha's Wild Kingdom tonight. It was very sad. It was about this lioness that had been disconnected from her pride because of human intervention. She took on a baby antelope as her cub. Unfortunately, she couldn't feed the baby. They were around each other for awhile like 20 days or something. Both of which were starving to death. The calf needed to suckle from it's mother that it was separated from. The lioness wouldn't eat or hunt while the calf was there. It was amazing to actually witness this phenomenon. Unfortunatly (or fortunately depending on how you think about the bleakness of their situation), the calf was killed by a transient male lion (at least the death was quicker than starving to death...still sad though). The Lioness watched in horror as he killed her calf. She even made sounds like a mother lioness after having lost her cub. But after the calf was taken from her she ate a wildebeast. It's been documented though that she fostered 5 more antelope calves (most of which died and didn't last as long as the first baby, but one calf was actually returned to her mother by the lioness). It was a remarkable story and I just felt I had to post about it because it was very moving.

So yeah...sleep....goood....g'nite!
