So this week was pretty good. I feel like I got some stuff done. Poor Berek was stuck playing Wheel of Fortune for another good 32 hours this week (he was home sick on Tuesday). We sat and watched t.v. most of that day. I wanted to do something, but couldn't because he was sick.

I got to work on my story a bit this week. I was just cleaning up somethings. I had Berek read it just as an editor and he helped me work a few kinks out as well as fix some of my repetative grammatical errors. Overall, I'm doing pretty well with it.

I have been getting a bit annoyed with my 'lack of car' situation. It isn't anyone's fault, it's just the way things are right now. Berek has been getting to my work at 7 if not a little later and it forces me to wait because I'm off at 6. If I had a car, I could simply take myself home. I don't blame him at all. I just wish I could get myself a cheapy car right now.

Thursday night I had to deal with one of the saddest things to ever happen to me while I was at work. The doctor was leaving for the day and a man stopped him with a really tiny puppy in his arms. The man was frantic because something was really wrong with the puppy. There was blood coming from it's mouth. The doctor looked at the puppy but unfortunately the puppy died in the man's arms. The doctor thinks it was somehow crushed, probably by the mother laying on it or something. So we offered to cremate the puppy for him. I took the puppy from him after he signed our paperwork. It was very sad.

Then we got the message from Rob that game wasn't going to happen on Friday because Bryce and Julia were in Hawaii and Carrie was in New York (lucky ducks). I wasn't surprised, just disappointed. I like my character. :D I have a lot of fun torturing Berek's character with him. Besides, he's kickass! :D

As for Friday, it came and went. When Berek and I got home we watched our favorite The-N show, Degrassi! It's on a marathon all weekend starting at 3p.m. and ending at 3a.m. :D We didn't watch until 3, but we did catch up on some older episodes that we haven't seen yet. :D I want to buy the dvd's! It's such a great show!

Today I'm off and so is Berek. We're toying with the idea of going to the beach today, we might also trip up to Santa Barbara too. We're just not sure, and we really don't care. We're just going to enjoy our weekend together.
