2005-10-17 10:52 PM THUNDER!!! Mood: Woot! Read/Post Comments (0) |
At last! At long last! I was at home enjoying my day off when the thunderstorm hit this morning/afternoon! WOOOOOOOT! I haven't been able to really enjoy the comforts of home on a day when a thunderstorm rolls in, since I was in grade school! It was nice to snuggle up in a robe and just stand by the window and watch the sky flash and count the seconds before the thunder rolled through the sky. :D It brought back memories of my parents telling me that the angels were bowling in heaven. Now neither of my parents are extremely religious, and neither am I, but it was a nice illusion to have. My parents would say that the reason it's raining is because someone is losing really badly. :D I know it's weird, but it's just one of those priceless memories you keep.
In any case, because I got to enjoy the comforts of home, I got to stay in my pajamas, slippers and a robe all day! Woot! Then it got too warm. So I shrugged the excess items off. I did some of my math homework and then proceeded to play City of Heroes. It's such a great game! My character reached level 20 today and thus is allowed to wear a cape! Woot! I got a costume change too, which was nice. :D As far as the rest of my life, there are still some issues that remain unresolved, but mostly everything is going great! School is coming along nicely, although I will find out more accurately tomorrow and Friday. I'm not entirely sure what's going on for Halloween at this point. As far as costumes go, I'm not sure I'll have enough money to do what I wanted to do, so I may have to resign myself to wearing what I did last year. It's not all that bad. Gothic fairy is good, not to mention in! The problem is, I need to find a way to make it different. Eh, we'll see. My birthday is also up in the air. I'm not sure what we'll be doing. All I have to say is, I wanna birthday bash weekend that'll knock me into being a quarter century old. I mean, what an accomplishment! I didn't get pregnant when I turned sixteen, I completed school, I'm in college, I'm working at a stable good job, I'm engaged to be married, and I just stayed home and watched a thunderstorm! Woot! Life is good. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
