2006-01-22 10:18 PM Long Weekend... Mood: Happy Read/Post Comments (0) |
So, this weekend was a nice long weekend (and one of the last ones that'll include a Saturday for awhile).
Berek and I spent Friday at his doctor's appointment (which I'll let him post about if he wants to). Then we went and had to get a few things done. Saturday, we spent a good chunk of the day with Ben at their dad's house to help clean up some space for the wheelchair. Berek's dad is having a skin graft done on his foot and it'll require him to be in a wheelchair for 2 months. So we needed to make sure that the place was wheelchair accessible. Then Ben, Berek and I went to eat at El Torito. I did splurge a little by finishing my meal, but I still only drank water. After dinner, we went to Fry's and Best Buy to look at computers. I need to get a computer that actually works. *sigh* I miss being able to play against Berek on CoH and CoV. But because the laptop is overheating, I can't play anymore. Ben however, is going to loan me his PC for awhile so that I can still play until we have enough money saved to buy a computer for me. Today, we spent a good chunk watching tv and just hanging out together. It was really fun. We were messing around like we used to before we started heavily dating. :) Then at about 4 we headed out for a nice long walk around the neighborhood in Woodland Hills. As part of his new regimen, we are supposed to do 30 minutes of exercise, but we did a nice long walk that consisted of hills and stuff. We did that for about an hour and a half. The really cool part about it, is that we actually brought our ipods just in case we wanted to listen to them, but we had such a nice time looking at the houses and just discussing how we want our house to look when we get one, that we had no use for them. :) It's nice to know that we have so much to talk about even though we see each other every day. I appreciate those times so much. Then we came home and had dinner and a movie. We watched 40 year-old virgin. :) That was a really sweet movie and it reminded me of my relationship with Berek (although, he isn't the only geek!). Of course, The Incredibles reminded me of Berek and I too. :) Hell, most movies where there is a romance involved reminds me of us! :) I guess I'm happy. :D YAY! Now I'm just winding down and getting ready for bed. I have one more day before I have to go to work again and I want to make the best of it. :) Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
