Before I lay down, I just wanted to go ahead and post how things are going today.

It was my first day back at school since I was sick. It was tough getting up at 7 a.m. again. That I have to say was the worst part of today until now, but more on that in a sec.

I had a great couple of classes because there was a lot of student interaction today in both health and child development. In health we were discussing relationships and sex. Naturally, this is a topic that everyone has some input to give. In child development we were discussing some learning disabilities and different types of behavior that children can have. It was just nice to have a class discussion on these topics. I think the teachers were happy that they didn't have to do all the talking for once. It was definately a nice change.

So today I decided to go to the mall and have my engagement ring inspected and cleaned. I also realized that I probably should take the opportunity to have the ring and it's wedding band counterpart resized since the engagement ring keeps sliding around the side and the diamond keeps pressing into the sides of my fingers. Plus, I've been worried that it'll fall off my finger. (Of course, I realized this after I got back home from the mall and ended up having to go back.) Apparently, since I've started losing weight, I've gone down a ring size. I started off as a size 7 and now I'm a size 6. I remember in high school I was a ring size 5 so maybe I can get back there again...if not, oh well. Now my finger feels all naked because I won't get the rings back until Wednesday. On the plus side, they'll both be shiny like new again! :D

Ugh...now to the reason why my day took a turn for the worse. My blood sugar dropped suddenly and quickly. Berek happened to have left his blood glucose testing kit at home today. I started feeling woozy so I decided it might be a good chance to see how my blood sugar was. 57! The normal range is between 80 and 120. 57 is very close to passing out and having adverse effects on the brain. With Berek's help I found something I could have that would help raise my blood sugar. I'm still feeling woozy, but I think I'm getting better. I just read a site that said I should recheck my blood sugar in 15 minutes and I think I will do that just to make sure that it's coming up. And that if it's still below 70 within 15 minutes to take some more sugar and test again in 15 minutes. Yeesh!

I haven't had a hypoglycemic attack this bad for a very long time! The thing of it is, I just had lunch 4 hours ago! And I didn't skip a meal today! I usually get this bad only if I skip a meal or snack. Oh well...maybe it's because of the antibiotics or because of the time I am in with my cycle. We'll see. I'm going to lay down now for a bit.
