Happy, but mourning...

So on Saturday, Berek and I went and put $1500 down for our wedding/reception site. We are officially set for March 1, 2008. That's our wedding date. This is so incredibly exciting, but also somewhat bittersweet. I wish that my grandpa could be there to see me get married. Especially, since he liked and respected Berek so much. *sigh*

In any case, at least one thing is set and in place when it comes to the wedding.

School starts tomorrow. I'm not sure I'm looking forward to it or not. I miss taking classes during the day. I definately do not like taking night classes. Unfortunately, I don't have much choice in the matter. Either I finish my degree or not. That is the only choice that I have. I just spent $189 on 3 books for 2 classes. Isn't that insane? That's more than the 2 classes are going to cost me. *sigh* I would've ordered the books online, but because I was extremely ill when my grandpa died I just couldn't think straight. (I had a horrible flu that pushed my temp above 103. OY! I'm better now though.) So that sucks because I could've easily saved $40 or $50! That would've been nice. Ah well...

I'm so glad that I'm feeling better. I was so bad that I couldn't do anything around the house. Poor Berek got stuck doing a huge load of dishes and we both had to do laundry on Saturday night. I'm glad we did though. Otherwise I would've had nothing to wear for work. Last night I made a real dinner (my first since the week before last) and I vacuumed the rug and floor. That made me feel much, much better. I hate seeing the apartment in disarray. It makes me feel weird.

I just realized that Valentine's Day is a bust! I have class that night! DOH! *sigh* To think I was going to try and have a nice quiet night with Berek. I was even going to pay Ben to leave the apartment for the night. Ah well, I guess I saved some money in that regard. :( Poop!
