I would first like to point out that this is the first day of the week that my neck hasn't hurt. I decided to bite the bullet and take Ibuprofen for a day and see if it helps. So far, so good! :)

Anyway, yesterday was Valentine's Day. I had a blast! A co-worker and I came together and brought a bunch of goodies to set up on a table in the telereceptionist room and we invited people from our department as well as people we know from other departments. :) It was great. I'm telling you, it looked like cupid threw up in our room! It was pink and red and white in here! :) I definately enjoyed it. We had a plethora of cupcakes, chocolate, chips and sweetheart candies. :) Talk about overwhelming decadence! Woot!

Berek received my flowers that ordered for him last month. :) The way they sent them was kind of cool. The flowers were not yet blooming and basically they came with instructions for him to optimize the blooms and make the flowers last longer. I sent him a bouquet of yellow lillies and irises. He really enjoyed getting them.

I got lots of Valentine's candy from other people from my department. It was really nice. Especially, since now I feel like I'm part of the team. People know me here. It's really a cool feeling.

Later, I left a kiddie Valentine's Card for Berek on his computer hutch at home. It was of The Thing from Marvel comics and instead of it saying, "It's clobberin' time!" like the character says in the comic books, it read, "It's smoochin' time!" I thought it was adorable. Plus, it came with a heart shaped sucker. :) I know he shouldn't have it, but what the hey, it's Valentine's Day!

I had school last night so the romantic stuff had to be pushed off till the weekend or something. But at school, the instructor let us off 55 minutes early and she distributed japanese chocolate covered almonds. (They were really good.) Apparently, I've been deemed one of the smartest students in the class because I was answering a lot of the instructor's questions. I had 2 people come up to me asking me to join their study group for the class. Plus, I had people who were new and adding the class this week coming up to me asking me questions in regards to the syllabus. I know, maybe I'm tooting my own horn, but it does make me feel good. At least I know that I'm doing something right in regards to my studying habits. I really think I've found something that I will enjoy doing and that I won't mind working towards. :)

So, when I got home (early), I figured Berek would've been there beginning to prepare dinner. (We've come up with a system for the nights that I'm at school.) But there was no Berek, only screaming kitties. (Oh how I love our boyz!) I thought maybe he had gone out with his dad or something, so I decided to give him a call. It turned out that he was at the laundry room switching the laundry. (We've almost dug our way out of the pile of laundry that we have let go due to schedules.) He was definately surprised that I got home as early as I did. So that was cute. He picked up a small gift for me though, he bought me some Magic boosters from the new Magic set! Woot! (Now all we have to do is sit down and play!) ;) I love you sweetheart!

So he made dinner. We had turkey dogs and jalepeno pierogies! Yum! Woot! I definately enjoyed the protein and spice. It was a change from the chocolate and carbs I was ingesting earlier. We sat and watched part of an episode of Kim Possible and then he went and got the laundry. We folded laundry, realized we were tired and decided to head off to bed.

It was a pretty cool Valentine's Day despite not having the night off. I am looking forward to our CoH/CoV Marathon on Saturday though! That is going to be awesome! Woot! (Must get studying done pronto!)
