So I had the last five days off and today is my first day back at work. It's surprisingly easy to ease myself back into it even though I've been able to sleep in the past few days. :D I wonder what it will be like though once I take two weeks off for my honeymoon. Hee hee!

So Berek and I went to the Anime Expo in Long Beach on Saturday! It was a whole heck of a lot of fun! I enjoyed being with him (even though I became a spoiled brat by the end of our stay there). We didn't do much in the way of panels at the expo, but we did see every booth they had at the exhibition hall. :) There were all sorts of cosplayers that did a really great job on their costumes. I was impressed! I got lots of cool stuff. Now the reason I became spoiled by the end of our stay was because we went through looking for a Vincent Valentine (from Final Fantasy Advent Children) wallscroll for both Liz and I. I began to lose hope that there was even any in existence. So I offered to get her a wallscroll from Trinity Blood (another cool anime) instead. So wouldn't you know I found one after I bought her a couple of TB wallscrolls to choose between (cause I wanted one too). I said I found ONE! There was but ONE Vincent Wallscroll at the entire Anime Expo!!!!! I was pissed because of my sense of honor. I wanted it, but of course I promised my friend that I would get it for her. *sigh* (In retrospect, it was okay because the wallscroll looks totally awesome in her room anyway.)

The things that I got were:

Tsubasa and TB wallscrolls.

4 really cool framed artwork from artists that I idolize on Deviantart.com (2 of Sephiroth from FFVII, 1 of Vincent Valentine from FFVII and 1 that's called "Tears" and it's of a really hot asian guy with long black hair who is crying. It's awesome!)

A t-shirt that has two 20-sided dice that rest over my boobs and says: "Yes, they're natural."

A mousepad for Berek that is of the Robotech insignia

A hat for Berek that is for Macross

Peach Girl Vol.2 DVD

Tsubasa Vol.2 DVD

I actually didn't get any manga or dvds (save for the above two because they were out a month early!!!) because the prices actually weren't that good for those items. So I skipped out on those and looked for some totally cool stuff. :D

We left the expo because I needed to get back and enjoy my girls' night with Liz. Besides, I had to make sure that she got her presents. (Next year, Liz and I are going to go as cosplayers. Hee hee!) So Liz and I got together for our monthly dress up ladies' night. We had tons of costume changes and such plus I actually had real long hair...not a wig... Hee Hee...I'll post a picture up here soon. :D

We stayed up until like 2 in the morning doing this and watching our favorite anime. We were watching Peach Girl and Paradise Kiss. Both are totally awesome animes! WOOT!

Then Sunday I was out of in for all sorts of reasons...mostly because I stayed up so late. So Berek and I did our grocery shopping. We also went to Frys and picked up some more anime. Hee hee!

Monday, I watched some more Anime because Berek took me out and got me a few more animes. Black cat, Rumbling Hearts and Shana (which both Berek and I are totally addicted to and very sad that there were only 6 volumes to the series because it was a truly fresh and cool series!)

Tuesday we had to get the ac fixed because it is sweltering out here! The thing started leaking from the inside again, but hopefully that's been fixed now. Berek and I headed to my grandpa's house because my mom wanted to spend 4th of July there. It was hot, but it was alright. That is until she started smoking in the newly redone house...*sigh* She doesn't understand that smoke clings to everything...especially to Berek who is allergic to it. Ah well...that's my mom afterall.

I forgot to mention that our wedding invitations have been ordered as well as my jewelry! Hee hee! I guess we're getting closer....

So that was pretty much what I've been up to.
