Like many children, Hunter usually calms down and goes to sleep when being driven in the car. However, he seems to need a freeway; the starts and stops of surface streets leave him fussy and complaining.

Monday night, we were leaving Shawn's mom's house, headed back to my grandma's. Hunter was being vocally unhappy -- not about anything specific (he'd just been fed and changed and burped and whatnot), just general fussiness. Shawn popped in the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack (which I'd listened to often while Hunter was still in utero), and Hunter immediately calmed down.

How cool is that?
