Oddly, considering the topic of my last entry, this has nothing to do with physical health.

I try very, very hard to see as many sides of a story as I possibly can. Although people may disagree over ways and means and even the relative values of goals, everyone is a human being and, as such, deserves at least the respect due their humanity. That's why, although I promote dissent in my CafePress store, I choose to not include any ad hominem attacks against our current President. I pride myself in being able to participate in reasoned debate, regardless of the strength of my personal feelings.

But this.... I can't do it. I can't continue to give credence to those who declare that We Had To Invade Iraq For The Greater Good.

Here's a link to a count of Coalition dead. I don't know if anyone is tracking the thousands of dead Iraqi.

Abu Ghraib was bad enough.

This was worse.

But I can't read this without wanting to simultaneously cry and vomit.

Shawn's nephew, Daniel, was stationed in Fallujah.

To quote our friend, Ian, I dispair at the evil being done in my country'same.
