Well, Strange Horizons passed, so I need to do more research.

I'm almost at the point of trying to expand it into a YA novel with the current climactic scene being primarily an into of character. Yeah, I'd have to shop a book, but I wouldn't have to worry about Finding The Right Short Story Market for it.
