Once again, there's big gaps between entries around here. A few things:

No semi-finalist critique from WOTF yet. And yes, I'm definitley going to frame the certificate when I get it. I did receive a rejection from Polyphony 6. The story didn't work for Deb this time around. Alas.

I admit my confidence was exrtaordinary high for those two stories. First time out in the mail for both. My spirits are still up, however, because I have a hunch they'll find the right home soon.

Btw, I have a couple of stories in the mail that must be approaching twenty rejections. Still, I feel confident about those. Now which Heinlein rule is about keeping stories in the mail until they sell?

Never give up! Never surrender!

For the last month or so I've had the soundtrack from the Lost television series. Some great writing music in there. I just wish some of the tracks were longer.

Speaking of Lost, season two DVD comes out at the beginning of October. I seriously cannot wait until then. I haven't been good at avoiding all spoilers because I'll go to Wikipedia or the offical website and throw all caution to the wind. There seems to be some dissatisfaction with season two out there, but I want to know more about the characters, the connections, the island. More more more!

Damn, I'll have to find someone around here that has season two recorded or downloaded. Then I'll buy the DVD set for the extras. Next season I'm watching it as it unfolds.

The weather around here has finally turned lovely. Sun, glorious sun!

There's more, I think, but I can't remember at the moment. Must be time to get back to work on that novel.
