Nothing happened today that was out of the ordinary. Which, given the events of the last few days, is a nice change of pace.

Our database system is down at work, which is the system I do the majority of my daily tasks on. At midnight, Information Services took it offline so they could start the upgrade we've been working on for the last few months. It'll be off until Monday afternoon, barring any technical difficulties. I'm hoping there won't be any. The last thing I need is someone calling me over the weekend to inform me that the rollover botched.

So, I've been keeping myself busy working on a Medical Records coding project, and rewriting the Access database that tracks license and certification expirations. At this point, it's kind of working... have to work out a minor bug in it where it keeps insisting that, regardless of what I have in the corresponding table, every single position in the hospital requires a license. What bugs me about it is that I cut and pasted the code for another licensure (CPR card) into that field, changed the necessary attributes to make it look at licenses instead, and it doesn't work, while the CPR field works fine.

Grr.
