Well, it's a slow day here at work. Nice change of pace, actually. I got these from my wife's journal, and since I haven't posted in a while, I figure it's high time I did something.

1. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says.

It says nothing. The nearest book to me is "Special edition - Using Access 2000" and page 18 is nothing but a blank, blue page.

2. Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?

The wall next to my desk.

3. What is the last thing you watched on TV?

I watched the news this morning before heading to work.

4. WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what the time is.

11:10.

5. Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?

11:14. Woo! Closer to lunchtime than I thought.

6. With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?

The ticking of the LCD clock that Jen got me. It's one of those gadgets from Brookstone where it's a single wand with LCD lights on the end, which waves back and forth at a high speed and lights up the lights in a certain order so it looks like there are floating words. So far, it's hypnotized a few of my co-workers.

7. When did you last step outside? What were you doing?

This morning - I was going to work.

8. Before you came to this website, what did you look at?

I checked CNN.com on my computer.

9. What are you wearing?

Black slacks, black shirt, black socks, black shoes, a belt, and my ID badge at work. Which isn't black, by the way. :)

10. Did you dream last night?

Probably, but I have no idea what it was.

11. When did you last laugh?

This morning, when someone in my office said something humorous.

12. What is on the walls of the room you are in?

White paint and a bunch of papers I taped to the wall for quick info. Oh, and a calendar.

13. Seen anything weird lately?

Lots. I live in Los Angeles. :)

14. What do you think of this quiz?

It's interesting enough to catch my attention, and short enough to actually do. Long quizzes bug me.

15. What is the last film you saw?

Jen and I saw Hellboy last weekend.

16. If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?

A house. Then a car. Then a chauffeur, since I don't drive yet, and Jen's getting sick of it. :)

17. Tell me something about you that I don't know.

When I worked as a courier in New York City on Wall Street just before I moved out to California, I was rather shocked to realize that during the course of one of my deliveries, I walked from the southern tip of Manhattan to midtown (passing through Greenwich Village, Soho, and a few other areas) with over 8 million dollars in bonds in my backpack. Of course, they didn't tell me this until AFTERWARDS, the bastards...

18. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?

That's a good question. I'd have to say end famine.

19. Do you like to dance?

Do I like to? Yes. Am I good at it? Hells no.

20. George Bush: is he a power-crazy nut case or someone who is finally doing something that has needed to be done for years?

Power-crazy nut case all the way.

21. Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?

I always liked Felicia as a girl's name.

22. Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?

Daniel or Kevin.

23. Would you ever consider living abroad?

Yup. I've been out of the country twice, and I loved it.

24. Will you pass on this survey?

If posting it on a journal counts as "passing it on", then yes. Otherwise, no.
