Oh damn... My sister is in same room as me, and damn, my head hurts. It is so loud, and obnoxious. Why does she likes that kind of stuff? Or, more important question, why people at all like this kind of stuff?

The one she is watching is called Kardashians, or something like that, and wow... It is seriously one of worst things i have seen. My head hurts just from voices of those girls. It's like a reality show that follows them around everyday life and stuff like that. But damn... It looks so fake. I mean, who would actually want cameras following them all the time? It's boring. Not to mention annoying. Why do people watch it? It holds no useful content whatsoever. All it does is being a generic cheesy show designed to appeal to pop audience. I guess society in general is to blame for that. Do people really not want to watch anything with actual content anymore, and want to watch teenagers cursing each other and talking about sex all the time? Damn. And don't even get me started on how relationships are presented in it. Uh...

Personally, I don't hate reality shows, when they are good. I like Survivor, for example. Always interesting with changing rules, and challenges, and people with their personalities. But the likes of this one and the likes of Next... It's just so lame. It looks like it just made for comedy. Or shock moments. After all, people swearing at each other draw ratings, huh? And that's all that matter to companies that make these kind of shows. I wonder, do they really always choose the biggest clowns, or they really stage it all? And what is really sad, is that young people of today choose that to model themselves after. No wonder each generation gets worse. It is probably funny that I am the one saying it, seeing that I am 22 (Which isn't very young to me, but is for rest of the world, for whatever reason).

I so totally hate pop culture. Not because it is popular, but because it sucks at everything it does, be it music, television, or something else. Nothing useful ever comes out of it. Though i can understand why it is popular. Because it doesn't encourage people to think for themselves, therefore is very easy to follow. Alot of people really don't want to think for their own, for varying reasons. It applies to other things in life, too. This is the world we live in... Sad.

Well, guess it really turned into me ranting away. Guess I'll turn it into regular series of my thoughts on varying subjects. No harm in expressing my thoughts, especially since I am only one reading them anyway. At least it gives use for journal, and helped me to relieve boredom and loneliness, somewhat.
