I had the most awesome Valentine's ever; we stayed in a house in Monticello, Georgia; on Lake Jackson; with another couple (they are awesome, and I hope to become good friends with them) and we went to Atlanta and I got a SUPER Awesome DRESS.
Matt and Thom cooked dinner; New York strip, Grilled Asparagus, Salad, and wine (heh heh I drank the whole bottle.) Matt then took me downstairs and proposed! YAY I'm FINALLY GETTING MARRIED! :D
The ring is absolutely beautiful; and it pins my personality perfectly. Its very classic, and looks like an antique. I've never seen another ring like it before. And I couldn't be more happy with it. I will try to post it on here and if I can't I will certainly post a link to it. My mother loves the ring; last night when I went to work; she asked if she could try it on; and she wouldn't give it back. :D oh well I don't MIND! I would be jealous of SUCH A BEAUTIFUL RING TOO! lol JP!

I'm so scared to wear my ring because I'm afraid to ruin it; I love it so much. I can't even take a shower with it on, because I'm terrified of it falling off my finger and down the drain. I have never been given such a beautiful thing. I've never owned a piece of real jewelery in my life; I hope I can get used to wearing it, because it would be a shame to have such a beautiful thing and be too afraid to wear it.


Other than my ring Matt also bought me a dress (as stated above), a beautiful candle (that I can't find), TONS of Bubble bath and shower stuff; a pink bulldog that sings (he said if I can't have a real one he might as well get me one that sings), chocolates (which every girl loves), art pens (which I was in desperate need of, and of which are WAYYYYYYY TOOOO PRICEY), and a giant card (because I have collected cards since I was little and he wanted to see where I would keep it, currently i have put it behind my dresser for safe keeping). And my mom bought me really tasty Chocolates that were in this really really cool box!

I guess you could call me hoarder because I keep gifts forever; to me they symbolize a very special point in my life; that I refuse to ever forget. In fact I think I've kept mainly every gift I've ever received (at least since I was old enough to respect gifts). And no matter what the cost attached they are all very special to me; and I will treasure them for as long as I live.
