It's incredible to see how people respond to personal tragedy and find ways to give back to the world, in memory of the ones they lost - whether it's through committed political action, art, or voluntary educational work to pass on a lost teacher's passion.

Human beings can be twisted and angry and destructive of the world around them. But they can also be amazing. This article, for me, was a really good reminder of that.
