I came down with a really horrible case of stomach flu Friday night. It's better now, but I'm still feeling pretty awful. So this is my placeholder entry to say - I am still alive, but probably won't be answering many emails or doing much posting, at least not for a few more days.

In the meantime, my big consolation is that my copy of Jo Graham's second historical fantasy novel, Hand of Isis, should be delivered to me any day now - maybe even this afternoon (pleasepleaseplease????), and as soon as I can think about food again without horrible roiling waves of unhappiness, I am going to go back to her fascinating journal entry about eating dinner in Alexandria during the time of Cleopatra (which even includes the recipes for an authentic 4-course meal! so cool - although today, I had to skip reading the actual recipes, for obvious reasons...).

Now I'm going to stop typing, because that uses way too many brain cells, and instead zone out with a silly teen movie...
