Enjoy the ride.

I took Allex to a couple of activities this week.

Our local library has a nice children's center. And every Wednesday they have "story time" for the kids. Afterward the kids do some sort of a craft. Allex sits well and listens during the story time. He is a little young for the crafts, but he loves watching the other children. It's wonderful for his socialization skills. And us Moms enjoy visiting around watching the kids.

Today, I took him to a "Mom's Group" that meets monthly. The format is really interesting. The Mom's meet together in one room for 2 hours. Grandmas volunteer to watch all the kids in another. The Grandmas love it and the kids love it and the Moms love it. Today, we had a guest speaker on "Organic Foods". I've made it a priority to learn most of the things she spoke about. But I learned some great new things too. I really enjoyed myself. And Allex did too.

The stimulation from these sort of groups is good for his development. Just one more thing to help make him a well rounded individual.

Enjoy the ride. Currently, I live in a small 'crossroad' town in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I'm raising a wonderful son, cultivating a promissing career in Real Estate and enjoying every day! I'm involved in many community activities, charitable organizations and do LOTS of Yoga! Life is a great ride. Things change, I adapt and follow the 'road' with love and humility.
