Enjoy the ride.

Currently, I live in a small 'crossroad' town in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I'm raising a wonderful son, cultivating a promissing career in Real Estate and enjoying every day! I'm involved in many community activities, charitable organizations and do LOTS of Yoga! Life is a great ride. Things change, I adapt and follow the 'road' with love and humility. • Happy New Year

The past two weeks have been fun-filled and full of holiday merriment for us with all our family and friends. It started with a Christmas Book Club evening that was an absolute delight. The following evening I went to our office holiday party that was just as good-spirited. The day after that I traveled to SoCal with baby in tow. (He patiently sat in the car for 4 hours - awake!)

In SoCal, it was day after day of good times as well. Starting with the afternoon at Kenny's, Allex and I were able to catch up with everyone. I got pictures of the kids doing a pyramid again - this time with Allex on top! We played fun games, exchanged fun gifts and ate yummy chinese food. The next day we went to Omi and Papas for a perfect Christmas day. There was LOTS of great presents for everyone. And I think it was the smoothest gift exchange we've ever had. WishLists rock!

While in LA, I drove down memory lane recalling with fond familiarity all the sights and sounds. Tom and Tami took us for Sushi on our last night and it was a blast! The sushi was awesome and so was the saki :).

Allex once again endured the 4 hour drive as we travelled home. We spent two days cleaning up Christmas things and hanging out around the house. It's been storming today, so we stayed in and had a roaring fire (I'm finally getting the hang of it). Tonight, on New Years Eve, we enjoyed a large family gathering at Brett and Wendy's. Allex ran around with the kids in hyper bliss. I played cards and laughed. It was a nice ending to the Holiday and the year end.

May the next year be filled with good health, joy, peace and prosperity for all! I have pictures online from SoCal at www.kodakgallery.com.
