Enjoy the ride.

Currently, I live in a small 'crossroad' town in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I'm raising a wonderful son, cultivating a promissing career in Real Estate and enjoying every day! I'm involved in many community activities, charitable organizations and do LOTS of Yoga! Life is a great ride. Things change, I adapt and follow the 'road' with love and humility. • Poem for my friend on a sad day

My friend, Courtney, has been carrying her baby boy for 7 months. Recently, she had serious complications. And today, the baby was born, but he did not survive. We are all grieving for her, her husband Jared and their son. As a Mother, this affected me more than I realized it would. My heart goes out to dear Courtney and Jared on this terrible day.

I wrote the following for Courtney and Jared. I haven't cried in a year (I've done my share of crying). But, today, I feel the terrible pain of grief and cry. I hope Courtney & Jared will be strong as they ride the waves of grief which are coming and eventually know that time will help heal.

    The world is silent
    The air stands still

Hollow eyes can see no form
    Heart beats without will

    They say the world turns
    But I don’t believe them

    I try to remember
    The breath in my lungs

    And inhale

    Until I feel
    I will not forget

    Until I feel hope
    once again
    Is a friend

    Be at peace little child
    May your way be found
    In your own time

    Be at peace precious one
    For you are loved
