I'm a web developer for NOVICA. I'm fascinated by languages, even though I only speak English and a little Spanish. I can count in Korean and have numerous language and linguistics books. I'm living within walking distance of CSUN where I share an apartment with my girlfriend and 2 cats. I'm happy. I write sporadically (I really need to finish that short story), with every intention of making a living at it at an undisclosed point in the future. I taught physics at Emperor's College Winter Term 2008. I love games and stories and music and computers and science and "and." I drink my coffee 100% black 80% of the time and 80% black 20% of the time. Also, there are other things. 7332 42

More podcasts

I listened to my first bit of Scott Sigler, the first chapter of his podcast novel Nocturnal. The raw style took a while to grow on me, but by the end of the hour, I fell into the rhythm. So far, he's set up a pretty diverse set of characters, if somewhat flat. I'm definitely going to work my way through one or two of his audio novels and see how Infected compares in print.

I've continued catching up with the spectacular Escape Pod. I'd like to point out the most recent meta cast. I'm definitely going to see if Gene De Chene will hand out some of the promotional bookmarks. It's always sad when things go pear shaped in someone's life, but it seems like Stephen Eley will come out on top. I sure hope so, he's renewed my sense of wonder at the world of fiction. Listening to short sci-fi shines a different light on it, and I like what I see.

all for now.
