So...another cool thing about my apartment? *Someone* has wireless internet. Imagine my surprise when I turned on my laptop. Must call and cancel my appointment with the cable people. I figure if this connection stops working and the coffee shop around the corner is closed, I can always hit A's house a mere three miles away...

The movers were at my place at eight on Saturday morning and I was moved in by ten. After a few trips back and forth with some odds and ends, I picked up my dogs and decided upon a final walk through the neighborhood before finally leaving. A swarm of bees that must have been dislodged from all the activity at the house chased me down the driveway and so made my departure a bit less emotional than originally expected. A sign?

I'm still getting used to things here. Still trying to get comfortable. I think my dogs are doing the same. I think this is going to be a great place for me.

And tonight...tonight I actually had company. Hard to imagine such a thing. A met my sisters, it went well, and I'm...smiling.
