I *love* that my dogs, and especially their paws, smell like Fritos. I don’t understand exactly why they smell that way, but it’s always there. Frito smell. This appears to be a common affliction. A star on a reality tv show once stated that she loved the way her dogs smelled when they were dirty, “like corn chips,” she said. It may just be the best smell in the world. My sister tells me that her crabby orange cat, Fred, smells the same way. I, however, have never tried to smell Fred. Fred bites, sheds a lot, and is three times larger than any sensible cat has a right be.
