Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

"Male and female represent the two sides of the great radical dualism. But, in fact, they are perpetually passing into one another." - Margaret Fuller

The meteorologist on the station we get is calling this winter, "the winter that wasn't." Why you ask? For the last several weeks, we have had unusually warm temperatures and sunny days.

It is so nice out. We have had the windows open throughout the apartment. Oh the fresh air smells so good.

I worked on my back patio cleaning it up of the husks from seeds and general dust. I watered the potted garden. Then I went to the front and swept the walkway in front of our apartment. I also have a grrr in here because there has been a blue jay hanging out in the tree in front. He is leaving his droppings all over the walkway.

I have been getting out each day for at least 15 minutes. I have read that in just that short of time space I am acquiring my Vitamin D for the day. My doctor has prescribed my taking of Vitamin D and I do but I much prefer the natural dose instead.

My miniature rose I received back in September is doing fine. I can't believe it because I have never had good luck with them. The plant has survived the freezing mornings we have had and is preparing to bloom. I see some yellow showing through. I don't know how much longer this blooming is going to take but I am having fun watching the process.

Bailey has been fully entertained by the various small birds that come to feed. I have been having fun watching Bailey watch the birds. By his involvement I assume he likes his cat TV.
