Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

I woke up this morning from anxious-making dreams. I hate these dreams as it can set the tone for my morning.

It was overcast but not raining although everything is wet. Then during Meet the Press, the sun came out and blue skies adorned our landscape. Not more than a half an hour later, it clouded up and rain began again. I know all the farmers are doubly grateful for this rain because we need it. Our rain gauge shows now at two inches and a quarter since Friday night.

Of watching Meet the Press this morning (isn't David Gregory just the cutest?) I was impressed with Sen. John McCain. I'm not impressed with the Republicans but I found Sen. McCain to be intelligent and he does seem to know his facts. I liked the fact that he was soft-spoken, did not speak ill of anyone, and yet, said what he needed to say.

If you go to today's link of Meet the Press you will see that Gregory also interviewed George Clooney. This was in regards to Clooney's participation in a protest and subsequent arrest outside the Sudanese embassy on Friday. He did say he was not interested in being an elected official.

The rain has stopped again and now the skies sport puffy clouds along with small wind gusts. My bamboo is flitting around as though she is dancing the salsa!

Bailey is in the proverbial cathouse. In an attempt to wake Michael this morning, Bailey nibbled Michael's arm. Michael does not wake well under these circumstances. Bailey has bitten my elbow when he wanted me to awake. Not that I like it but I don't take it personally. Bailey won't take no for an answer.

So this is how my Sunday goes, a nice lazy day for me.
