Oh geesh. I have come down with a dreaded cold. I'm not sneezing much but I do have congestion in my throat which is causing me to cough. I'm drinking lots of honey and apple cider vinegar. I hope this passes in a couple of days as I am tired of this.

Since I didn't feel good yesterday, Michael and I watched lots of DVDs. My favorites were "The Duchess" with Kiera Knightly and "Elizabeth" with Cate Blanchette. On other movies, I took a nap and rested. Oh, and another favorite was "Twister" with Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton.

Well, today, is Super Bowl Sunday. Since I live in California, you can imagine which team I'm rooting for. I sure hope the 49ers carry this one home. It should be an exciting game all the way around and I am looking forward to it.

I'm back to my chair.
