Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

Monday
Waxing Moon in Gemini

What a blah day to wake up too.

Rain is expected today or tomorrow. I heard the radio guy say that he had rain on the way down the Grade this morning as he was coming to work.

The household is quiet as Michael is sleeping though his nose is snuffling.

What a horrid cold.

I'm feeling a little bit better but I"m not quite there yet. I wake up tired and it takes me awhile to wake up. But, of course, I stayed up late with Michael last night to watch the "Closer" with Kyra Sedgewick. I always did like this show but now it only comes on for us at 1 a.m. Sunday night. Luckily I had a nap yesterday.

I downloaded my first free Kindle book from Amazon. It's about ghosts, vampires and such. It seems to be a young adult book. I'm finding that the font is easy to read and I can get through a good many pages before my eyes give out. What fun, I just may want a reader after all.

I'm really having a problem with reading Ernest Hemingway's 35 short stories. The print is so fine. I have to use a magnifying glass to read it and I don't get through so many pages before I have to rest my eyes.
