Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

Monday
Waxing Crescent Moon in Gemini

What happened to Sunday and how'd I get here to Monday?

I remember getting up around 9:30 a.m. My plan was to do laundry but that did not happen. Instead, I did some reading and then took a nap. This whole time Michael was sleeping. Well, so much for doing laundry.

Here it is Monday and I do get my laundry done. I was at the laundromat by 8:30 a.m. Only one person in the place and using the large washers I like to use. Oh well. I can go to the next size down. Everything will get done one way or the other.

One thing nice about going to the laundromat is that while clothes are washing, I can be reading the current book of the moment. Today, it is . . . still . . . Hemingway's Short Stories. Hopefully before April 2 I will have completed the book. I don't know why it is taking me so long but I am staying focused.

Back home, Michael aids me in folding clothes and putting them away. He is an awfully nice guy.

No naps today as I am working on bills, reading e-mail, and taking care of other household chores. Gosh, it seems like there is always something.

At least I'm present for Monday.
