The party was very eclectic but most of the folks were around the same age give an age or two difference. Everyone was finding the common bond and the chatter was fun.

I can't say enough about that man of mine's cheffing abilities. Yummmmm, it ws good. We had sausage, hotdogs, ribs, and chicken. All of it was good. The sides were salads, salads, deviled eggs, nuts and the drinks of our choices.

The one or two guys brought over their conga druns and a little drumming session proceeded. This was nice but it cut into the initmate conversations the various of us had begun. Not long after this, Michael and I packed up and went home.

The fog layer was in enough we could not see the fireworks but we could hear them. Which was fine with us.

So, today is going to be a lazy day for us. Too much partying for us. We are not used to that these days. The day is overcast so I think it will be a day to be inside,
