Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

I had every intention of coming by yesterday to share a cuppa and have a chat but things got in the way.

It began with my walk and then we got some housework done. The afternoon was spent doing errands in SLO-town. I had a doctor's appointment and then we went to pay the rent. By the time we returned home I was done in.

Mr. F made my (one of my) most favorite dinners, burritos. After that we settled in for the news and then the favorite nighttime shows.

Which brings us into today. Another foggy cool morning. I really didn't want to get up but then I never do. Bailey has other ideas of course. Once he was fed, I got ready and went for my walk.

For a change I walked up town. It amazes me how noisy it is with the morning traffic and everyone heading off to work. Plus there are the work trucks for the sewer and they triple the noise.

Then I did a silly thing, I decided to go to this morning's food bank. Mr. F wasn't ready to go anywhere and I figured it didn't hurt me to do some driving to stay in shape. What did I do? I went off without my wallet which had my driver's license in it. I was saying my prayers all the way home not to get pulled over. My prayers were answered.

Then Bailey decides to get in the mess and pees on the bed. I don't know what this is about but none of us are happy, especially Mr. F since it was on his side of the bed.

He had been sleeping on the futon in the living room because of my snoring but last night he was bothered by the dust and he came to bed. Bailey didn't have me and the bed to himself and I guess he wanted to showed his displeasure. So I will be doing laundry in a little bit.

This is the only time I wish I didn't have pets.

I have been watching the news about the fires in Australia. Last I heard there were 56 fires about the island. Gosh, I say prayers for all involved. I hope the weather helps out and puts out those fires.

I hope everyone is well and enjoying their day.
